Inconvenient to put in a normal tool box.
Slow, with the old design pulley swaps take 20-60 minutes
Risk of damaging removed pulley. Horseshoe does not support entire back of pulley
Snout damage. Threaded stud can mung up the threads in the snout
Tool damage. 1/2" end of large threaded rod gets stripped easily
*Please note that in the center of the snout (center of pulley where the shaft is) that if you do not have a threaded hole in the shaft because someone broke off a bolt in there, you will not be able to remove the pulley* That threaded center shaft is on the supercharger and is needed to thread an M8 stud that is included with this kit as part of the removal of the press on pulley. We have had a couple customers say they do not have a threaded center shaft because previous owner of vehicle had a broken bolt in the shaft which prevents the ability to remove pulley with this tool. This is not our responsibility.
This will remove the pulley on LSA and LT4 superchargers, but will not reinstall it. You will need a press in order to reinstall onto these types of superchargers.
We specialize in Superchargers and developed this pulley puller kit to be the very best you will find.
Before we developed our tool it was a very difficult task to remove the stock pulley off of a stock supercharger. Most people attempt it with a typical 3 jaw puller which is guaranteed to damage the snout and bend the pulley. So we designed a real supercharger pulley pulley that removes it from the snout without destroying anything and can install the pulley back on without requiring a press.
On most cars you can even do it without removing the supercharger from the car. After years of improvements this is the very best hands down. Of course since we came out with this many people have copied our engineered design, but still have an inferior product. Even though they copied our design we have a superior product with superior material. The plates are aluminum, thick, and CNC machined right here in the U.S. Our long threaded rod is the most durable one in the world as many inferior ones out there that other people are using cannot withstand the abuse ours can. Others will strip after a couple times of use. With ours as long as you use anti-seize on the threads will last a very long time. Plus when dealing with us you don't have to worry about not being able to find replacement parts when needed. We are not some guy in his spare time at work making these kits to sell on ebay. We are a business that will be here for you when you need replacements parts so you don't have to buy a totally new kit. After time you may lose a washer or small M8 stud or need a replacement rod, etc. The aluminum CNC
